Macron 2022/23 Teamwear

New for the 2022 / 23 season, Macron have introduced their newest total look: “Total Look Excellence”. This look features contrasting and abstract design on the sleeves and shoulders, with solid colour front and back. For sides looking to commit to a range going forward, this will be stocked by Macron through 2025.

For training and matches, there is the Gede shirt and the Bellatrix women’s fit shirt. Whilst the Bellatrix comes in a core range of colours: white, red, royal, navy, black, silver, there are some more options with the Gede. Those core colours are supplemented by orange, cardinal, columbia, and bottle green. These designs feature a knitted collar and mesh inserts in addition to the dye-sub texture on the shoulders.

The Arno ¼ training top features a reversed zip with auto-locking neck-care slider and micromesh inserts in sleeves and sides. It comes in eight colours: red, royal, navy, black, silver, cardinal, green and columbia. The Naryn comes in the same colour range, and has the same features, but it also has a thumb hole. The Dora has the same features as the Naryn, but comes in the womens fit, and a select range of colours: navy, red, black and silver.

In terms of tracksuits, the Seth and Achilles both come in the same eight colours as the Arno and Naryn ¼ zips. The Seth comes with a full die-cast zip, side pockets with resin zip and waist coulisse. The Achilles features dye-sub texture on sleeves and shoulders, microfiber front with mesh lining, pockets with resin zip, band collar in fabric and rib knit and a full die-cast zip.

The trusted club polo is the Rock which has dye-sub texture on sleeves and shoulders, rib knit polo neck with 2 buttons, knitwear cuffs, polo shirt back in micromesh. In addition to the colours available in the ¼ and full zips, the polo also comes in white.

Rounding off the look is the Elbrus rainjacket. The Elbrus has a full reversed nylon zip with auto-locking slider, pockets with reversed nylon zips with auto-locking slider, hood concealed in collar, waist coulisse and elasticated cuffs.

So, what is else new with Macron this year? Well, for match shirts, the Polis has been increased with six new colourways to take up the range to twenty-two. The new colourways are red/black, royal/yellow, green/red, purple/white, navy/yellow and a unique gold/white.

A new match shirt this year is the Alioth, which again, comes in a wide range of thirteen colourways. For teams looking to commit to a shirt, this will be ranged through 2025. This shirt has a unique design on the sleeves, and then on the body of the shirt, there is a faint striped design. It features an embossed texture on front, dye-sub texture on sleeves, shirt back in Eco micromesh and a rib knit neck.

Following on from the Miram, another take on the traditional striped shirt is the Sceptrum, in ten different colourways.

To match up with the shirts, is the Skara short. This comes in nineteen colourways and is designed to match up largely with the Alioth. This short comes up to 3XL size, and come in solid colours with a contrasting colour panel down the sides.

Over the last few years, grip socks have become more popular, and much to the chagrin of many club secretaries, players have taken to cutting and taping their match days socks. Well, Macron are now going feet first / dipping their toes in, whichever pun you prefer, to this market.

They have the Pro Grip Hero sock. It has internal and external silicone cushions for enhanced fit and grip, mesh knit on instep, elasticated insert on instep for enhanced fit, soft terry cotton insole for shock absorption, flat seam at toe for enhanced sensory comfort and honeycomb construction on leg for comfort and lightness.

The Trick match day ankle sock is available in a select core range of colours: white, red, royal, green, navy and black. It features toe and heel in wear-resistant yarns, elastic terry cotton foot, compression rib knit cuff in elastan and asymmetric lx/rx sock construction

The Sprint sock, is essentially the other half of the Trick, and is a footless calf sock. It comes in the same colourways and features a soft PA front leg, compression rib knit cuff in elastan, rear mesh inserts for enhanced ventilation and moisture management and lower compression rib knit band in elastan.

There are a couple of new goalkeeper shirts this year, the Eridanus and Cygnus. Both of these shirts come in the same colour ways of purple, neon yellow, neon green and anthracite which should give a contrast to referees and opposition teams.

The Cygnus features an embossed texture on front, eco mesh inserts on sides, shirt back in Eco micromesh and a V-neck in fabric with knitted triangular insert. The Eridanus is broadly similar featuring light padding on elbow, mesh inserts on hips and inner leg, shirt back in micromesh, mesh inserts on back collar, V-neck in fabric with knitted triangular insert.

While not part of the Total Excellence total look, the Nevel cotton t-shirt compliments the colours of the range nicely. It has melange effect texture on sleeves and shoulders, rib neck. Another new item is the Clarinet polo, which comes in the core colours of white, red, royal, navy and black. It has is a buttoned polo shirt with collar leaf in fabric.

For a slightly more casual look for player travel / game day wear there is the Dance hooded sweatshirt and Beat full length sweatshirt. The Dnace heavy cotton poly hoody has a kangaroo pocket, knitted cuffs and waistband and round drawstrings with pullers. It comes in red, royal, black, navy and grey. The Beat has pockets with reversed nylon zip, rib knit collar, cuffs and waistband and full reversed nylon zip.

This range proved to be hugely popular when it launched back in 2019, however, it is now into it’s final year in the Macron range. There are some colour / size combinations which have unfortunately sold out already and won’t be replenished. Across a number of products, June 30th is now the last restocking date, having slipped from mid-May.

In order to guarantee stock, we can place back orders now, and ship items when they become available. If you are going into next season and think you might need new kit for players or coaches, then it might be time to get some ordered now.

The Total Campione range included, the Deneb shirt, Rhine ¼ zip top, Gea full zip top, Country t-shirt, Jumeirah polo shirt, Aether hoody, Tully mesh lined windbreaker and Vancouver padded jacket. There was also the Eos which was the women’s fit full zip top.
